Whether you are just beginning or have been singing for years, we can help you find your unique voice.

We offer lessons day or evening, Monday through Sunday. We are located in N.E. Atlanta in Brookhaven - - a couple of miles North of Lenox Square with easy access to GA. 400, I-85/75 and I-285. Beginners and advanced students are welcome.

Learn in a supportive and positive environment, with an experienced teacher and performer. Atlanta Voice Lessons is a studio for students to establish a technique suitable for opera, art songs, and legitimate musical theatre work plus oratorio. Lessons are offered for high school students and adults of any age including advanced professional singers. Winnie also teaches beginning piano lessons, music theory and accent reduction.

Winnie can help you with auditions including opera, chorus, All State Chorus, musical theatre, and movies. Your lessons will help you in singing for your own pleasure as well as weddings, church solos, as well as opera, and music theatre roles.

Repertoire includes opera, art songs, lieder, oratorio, musical theatre and jazz. You will learn practical ways to apply solid vocal principles to the daily use of your voice. Each vocal exercise is specifically chosen to help nurture healthy singing technique.

A good classical technique teaches singers how the voice works naturally. The goal of technique is to find the most true, free and resonant tone of which the particular voice is capable. This approach to singing takes time to master. Each lesson will begin with vocal exercises, singing scales on vowels, plus working on proper breathing and posture. After your vocal exercises, we will work on a song literature suited to your voice and interests.

Your vocal studies through Atlanta Voice Lessons will help you with all of the skills that you need for your solo voice: placement, breathing, diction, song interpretation, musicianship, and strengthening of your voice, plus range extension. Atlanta Voice Lessons is a studio for students to establish a technique suitable for opera, art songs, and legitimate musical theatre work plus oratorio.

Your voice lessons will be recorded with state of the art equipment in mp3 format so that you can take your recordings home on your USB flash drive. You will have access to Atlanta Voice Lesson's comprehensive library public domain scores, enhancing your learning process. Plus, Winnie has recently added Smart Music, a computer-based practice system for students. Voice students have access to a listening lab for Singer's diction in several foreign languages.

Winnie offers a masterclass each month. Students receive coaching from a professional coach accompanist, and from Winnie along with comments from other voice students. Several times a year guest artists will present masterclasses for Atlanta Voice Lessons students. Your friends and family can sit in on the masterclasses. Masterclasses and recitals help students to become confident performers.
