Winnie Goree is not only a talented singer herself, but a gifted teacher who really cares about the progress of her students.

Winnie Goree an exceptional performer in her own right, and she has a great voice. Winnie's voice is a rich and vibrant, and expressive. I love studying with her! Her teaching style challenges the student but remains perpetually encouraging. Her many years of experience have made her extremely knowledgeable, but her true magic is in the way she communicates with her students. If the student doesn't "get it", Winnie will explain it in a different way, or in as many different ways as it takes for the student to understand. She is one of the rare instructors that comprehends that not all students learn in the same way, and she adapts her approach to suit the student's learning styles. I have studied with renowned vocal instructors at the Boston Conservatory of Music and in New York City, and have improved more with Winnie than with any of the others. She is as knowledgeable as these other teachers, but is far superior because it is evident that teaching is her passion.

Winnie Goree is an excellent teacher and friend. She is a woman that is very passionate about teaching music. She is patient, loving and kind. I know when I go for my lessons I always leave believing in myself. She makes sure that she gives each student the best music that complements their voice. With each song I know that I have become a stronger singer and I am more confident in my vocal ability. With every challenge that she gives us she never forgets to give us the tools that will allows us to achieve the impossible. I must say that I honestly enjoy the time that I spend with her. Ms. Goree she has a heart that is like precious gold and more than any student can ask of a teacher. Winne with works our daughter. She always displays great personal care and concern for her, and takes a vested interest in her success as a vocalist. She helps my daughter learn many of art songs, including several in foreign languages. She gives Tricia the time and attention that a singer requires,and is a great encouragement to her. In addition, Winnie makes public performance arrangements to help my daughter's expertise and confidence could develop in a supportive, in vivo setting. Overall, it is a very positive experience. I recommend Winnie to others interested in taking voice lessons from a patient, knowledgeable and skilled instructor.

As a student who was starting from scratch, I was initially nervous to begin singing lessons but by the end of our first session, I was completely at ease with Winnie. Not only is she razor sharp with her teaching techniques, but Winnie really creates a positive environment for learning. Winnie is very enthusiastic about teaching and her students. There is no question she loves her profession. In addition to vocal lessons, Winnie has an extensive electronic library of music including recordings of accompaniment, diction, and various vocal exercises. These tools are very valuable and greatly assist the student’s progress. She is very devoted and committed to her students.
